Province calls for comments on Provincial Policy Statement
The Province is undertaking a review of the Provincial Policy Statement (PPS), which guides land use planning and development across Ontario.
The PPS sets out the Ontario government’s policy direction for land use planning and development. All municipal plans must be "consistent with" the PPS - it's a crucial part of the planning framework. You can find out more about the review and how to participate here. Comments are due by August 31, 2010.
