PPT’s main objective for the introduction of the Harmonised Bylaw is that the public review process provides clear and accessible information, so that ordinary citizens can understand its implications and be able to comment effectively.
Letter to the Standing Committee on Government Agencies by Steven Wood — last modified 2009-11-13 17:28
In September the Standing Committee on Government Agencies conducted hearings to review the function, mandate and role of the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). In the alternative, PPT submitted that a number of reforms would enhance the OMB’s effectiveness and ensure more equitable citizen participation before the Board.
